In the boathouses (Nausts), boats are moored, just as good productions and projects also find a harbor. With this setting, I draw the lines back to my father`s roots in Frøystadvågen, the small bay at the west-coast of Norway where my father grew up.

After 25 years at Norsk Musikkforlag, being responsible for national and international progress and networking of a number of contemporary composers like Sally Beamish, Wim Henderickx, Gisle Kverndokk, , Ellen Lindquist, Marcus Paus, Henning Sommerro, Øyvind Torvund, Knut Vaage and more, and their musical works, it became in 2026 natural to expand the focus on my own company which has existed since 2012.

In NAUST - Text and Music – I give life to shorter stage music productions and provide services on behalf of composers. The goal is that qualitative stories and ideas can be materialized in an open, professional and pleasant sphere.

Right now a new tour with DAGNY is in progress and I am to write a libretto for a new production about the mathematician Sonja Kovalevsky. In a premature phase, I am also involved in other productions.
